Itinerary
Part 1: The Safari
Day 1: Friday 25 Sept – Arrival & Transfer to Murchison
Fly into Entebbe International Airport early morning and drive straight to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop for breakfast en route. Check into the safari lodge for your first night in the wild.
Saturday 26 – Monday 28 Sept – Murchison Safari Experience
Three unforgettable full days exploring Murchison Falls with each night spent at a fully-catered safari lodge within the park:
Day 2: Classic game drives and wildlife spotting.
Day 3: Riverboat tour on the Nile.
Day 4: More game drives with a visit to the top of the falls and a wild picnic.
Part 2: Party on the Island
Day 5: Tues 29 Sept – Travel to One Minute South
Wrap up the safari and drive back to Entebbe. Take a boat to Bulago Island for a relaxed evening by the lake.
Wednesday 30th Sept – Friday 2nd Oct – Island Time
Enjoy island life at One Minute South:
Day 6 - Wednesday: Oli's 14,611th Sunset
Day 7 - Thursday: Rest, swim, and unwind.
Day 8 - Friday: Explore the island.
Part 3: Jinja (not Ginger) Adventures
Saturday 3rd Oct – Monday 5th Oct
Take a boat & bus to Jinja, the adventureland at the source of the River Nile:
Day 9 - Saturday: Arrival and settle in.
Day 10 - Sunday: Action-packed day with rafting, bungee jumping, horse riding or ATVs.
Day 11 - Monday: After a visit to Jinja’s local market - Return to the island for the goodbye dinner at One Minute South.
Day 12: Tuesday 6 Oct – Departure
Boat transfer from One Minute South to Entebbe for international flights home.

Costs Per Person
Estimated all-inclusive cost per person: €3000
Below is an estimate (on the high end). Once we know numbers we can start with placing reservations and push for good deals. Also note - if you’re short on time or money - skipping the Safari or the trip to Jinja is very doable.
- Part 1: The Safari €1000
- Includes airport pickup, park fees, private safari vehicles, tour-guides, accommodation & catering
- Part 2: Party on the Island €500
- Includes boat journeys, accommodation, food & catering
- Part 3: €set-your-own-budget
- Accommodation ranges from cheap backpacking hostels (€30pp/night) to luxurious lodges (€350pp/night)
- Whitewater rafting €140 for all day (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
- ATV tour €85 for 2hr
- Horse Riding €65 for 2hr
- The Flights outlined below start at around €800

Flights
- Once we know numbers, we'll try get a discount on a group booking.
- Flight TK612 arrives at 03:55 on 25/09/26
- Flight TK592 departs at 22:55 on 06/10/26
- Turkish Airlines is the best value we know of and goes via Istanbul.
- It’s a weird flight as it makes a stop in Kigali on the way to Entebbe (you stay on the plane while some get off and on) On the way back it’s direct to Istanbul.
- It arrives before dawn, but we’ll be there to pick you up.
- There’s good options to do an extended layover and visit Istanbul if you want to break up the journey and extend the adventure.
Health & Vaccines
Yellow Fever Vaccination (Mandatory)
- The yellow fever vaccine is required for entry to Uganda for all travelers aged 1 year and older.
- Vaccination must be done at least 10 days before travel.
- Travelers must carry an International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate when entering Uganda.
Travel Medical Consultation (Recommended)
- A travel medical consultation is highly recommended to review additional vaccines (e.g. Hepatitis A/B, Typhoid, Tetanus), malaria prevention, and general travel health advice specific to Uganda.
